Innovation

Some best practices from the CFCI network

Realizing the vision of the child-related Sustainable Development Goals in 2030 requires an urgent and significant step change in the pace of progress. Now more than ever, innovation is key: we must do more, faster, to achieve the change every child deserves and a better world for us all.

Innovation takes many forms. From tech innovation that benefits equitably, including powerful tools like artificial intelligence and blockchains. But just as important are the many frugal innovations that can easily be adopted, adapted and scaled up.

We have to ensure innovative solutions are designed and tested by, with, and for the end users. This includes community health workers, teachers, parents, government officials, grassroots activists and most importantly youth themselves, in all their diversity, who offer a wealth of ideas and creativity on issues that matter to them.
