Treviso, Italy, is recertified as Child Friendly City

On May 31st, 2025 the City of Treviso (in the north of Italy) received the renewed recognition as a Child Friendly City.

31 May 2025 - the City of Treviso, in the north of Italy, received the renewed recognition as a Child Friendly City. The Municipality was recognized as a Child Friendly City for the first time in 2023 after 3 years of hard work. Since then, the municipality has continued its efforts to implement the rights-based approach proposed by the Child Friendly Cities Initiative. 

With this recognition, the Municipality of Treviso has demonstrated its continued efforts to implement 0-18 programming in accordance with the approach proposed by the UNICEF Initiative, enhancing its capacity to measure and evaluate the impact of child policies. The Municipality of Treviso has reported the outcomes of this work in the second report on the state of children and adolescents that was elaborated in collaboration with the civil society coordination body on childhood policies.
